Bait Al-Mashura for Financial Consultations signs a cooperation agreement with GIFT “Global Financial Technology Alliance”

Bait Al-Mashura Company for Financial Consultation has signed a cooperation agreement with the Global Financial Technology Alliance, GIFT, according to which Bait Al-Mashura has officially become the regional office for the alliance in Qatar and the Middle East.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Osama Qais Al-Dereai, CEO, Bait Al-Mashura Financial Consultations Company, and on behalf of the GIFT Financial Technology Alliance, Professor Malik Kotida, CEO of the alliance.

In a speech on the occasion, Dr. Osama Al-Dereai said that the agreement comes within the framework of joint and strategic cooperation between the two entities, and it also comes within the efforts of Bait Al-Mashura Company to support and develop the financial market and keep pace with the latest global developments in digital financial technology, which contributes to achieving sustainable development goals in the country.

He added that the agreement is a link in a series of memoranda of understanding and joint cooperation agreements signed by Bait Al-Mashura Company at the present time with major international companies and institutions to support the positive impact of financial technology in the development of the digital financial field in the country.

Professor Malik Kotaida thanked Dr. Osama Qais Al-Dereai for this constructive cooperation with the Alliance in the field of financial technology, which aims to provide it to all sectors of society and improve financial literacy. It is worth noting that the Gift Alliance is one of the largest global alliances in the field of financial technology in more than 60 countries around the world, and its efforts are focused on developing the financial and banking field for the public and private sectors, as it includes members from international Islamic and conventional banks, consulting firms, central banks and major financial technology companies around the world.

The workshop will be presented by Mr. Mohamed Kateeb, Group Chairman and CEO, Mr. Kateeb is currently serving as member of the Board of Trustees of IRTI, an affiliate of the Islamic Development Bank Group that focuses on developing a technology-enabled Islamic financial services sector leveraging state-of-the-art technology to mainstream Islamic economics and finance knowledge.
