Bait Al-Mashura Financial Consulting Company presented a free webinar entitled “Voyaging Sustainable Financial Innovation in times of Technology” to the public on September 30, 2021, in cooperation with Path Solutions, a leader in the Islamic Finance Field.
The workshop will be presented by Mr. Mohamed Kateeb, Group Chairman and CEO, Mr. Kateeb is currently serving as member of the Board of Trustees of IRTI, an affiliate of the Islamic Development Bank Group that focuses on developing a technology-enabled Islamic financial services sector leveraging state-of-the-art technology to mainstream Islamic economics and finance knowledge. Most recently, Kateeb was presented with the ‘Islamic Fintech Leader of the Year’ award at FINTECH PRIZE 2020. He was also selected ‘Best Technology Executive of the Year for Financial Services’ at the MEA Finance Awards 2020. Winner of the 2018 GIFA Advocacy Award (Islamic Financial Technology), Kateeb was chosen the same year among the ‘Leaders of Islamic Economy in East Africa’, and in 2017 he was granted the prestigious ‘Leadership Award in Information Technologies & Media’ by ISFIN, named five times among the ‘Top 50 Most Influential Leaders Who Make the Islamic Economy’ in ISLAMICA 500.
The workshop was moderated by Mr. Mughees Shaukat, Chairman of the Advisory Board of Fingel Global Inc, Canada; he is a Fintech & Digital Banking Specialist from MIT, USA, Mr. Mughees also serves as the Vice Chairman, AAOIFI Education Board Bahrain; Pioneer Head of Islamic Finance, Oman
And is elected as the Fintech Leader of the Year, 2020, Turkey; he is the Winner of GIFA Islamic Finance and Leadership Award by The President of Pakistan.
The webinar is the latest in a series of fintech webinars offered by Bait Al-Mashura company after the resounding success of its series of webinars since the beginning of 2021 on the importance of digital technology, which was presented for the first time in Qatar and the attendees praised the high professionalism and accuracy in coordinating the workshop in line with the policy of Bait Al-Mashura Company in its constant provision of a unique, innovative and interactive experience, which contributes to spreading a vision of continuous development to keep pace with the latest global technologies in the Qatari society.
